Hannah+ Brandon | A Fort Monroe Engagement

Hannah was referred to me by a friend/client, and I knew we’d hit it off! We started texting right away and clearly we get each other- she’s super outgoing and fun! We made plans for a FaceTime meeting, but she texted me the day of and asked if I wanted to get together for a wine date! UM, YES!!!!

Our meeting over wine and some delicious fried oysters was more like hanging out with a friend rather than a “client meeting.” We chatted for like 3 hours and I had the best time learning about her and her fiance, Brandon, as well as her vision for her wedding day. She’s a very classic glam kinda girl, am I’m certainly excited because their elegant wedding is at the Historic Post Office in November!!

So funny story, while growing up, Brandon was Hannah’s best friend’s younger brother! She never thought that years later they would connect and have such a sweet love story. Like how cute is that?!? When I first met Brandon at the engagement session, I totally got it. They are PERFECT together! He is so chill and just really cool guy- and it’s SO OBVIOUS how much he adores Hannah!

We started their engagement photos inside the fort and everything was going perfectly! Then we decided to try a couple spots outside of the fort, but JEEZE the wind was a battle. Hannah’s hair was EVERYWHERE! We were able to find some breaks in the gusts. but seriously, I don’t care who you are- if you have any length to your hair, wind is annoying AF.

So even though the wind was a bit annoying, Hannah and Brandon totally killedddd their session! Brandon picked up on the posing tips IMMEDIATELY. I just love when that happens! And Hannah was super beautiful and just loved getting millions of kisses from her boo thang.

These two lovebirds are certainly a joy to be around and I seriously can not wait until November! I know this wedding is going to be one for the books!! Congratulations, Hannah and Brandon!!!
