Happy Friday everyone! Super excited to finally share Inga and Igor’s boho themed wedding! I flew into Virgina on a friday, photographed their Saturday wedding, and got up at 4 am the next morning to fly back home! WHEW, I definitely underestimated how tiring that would all be while 6 months pregnant! But seriously, ZERO regrets. This wedding was perfect in every way!
Inga and Igor are Bosnian and Serbian, respectively. My husband, also from former Yugoslavia, encouraged me to definitely take this wedding, even though we would already have moved away from Virginia. SO SO SO glad that I did. Inga and Igor were so amazing right from the very first facetime consult. Inga and I texted often and we all had a blast when we met up for their engagement session. I believe it was the next day that our families got together and went out to eat! Needless to say, I adore this couple.
at the Historic Post Office, (totally one of the best venues ever!) I was so excited to see Inga’s vision coming together. Her planner, Michelle was working hard but made time to introduce herself! She is seriously the SWEETEST, y’all. (Definitely recommend her for planning!!) After a quick introuction I headed upstairs to the bridal suite to greet Inga and start photographing her details.
The afternoon sailed by smoothly towards the ceremony time. Inga walked own the aisle with her sweet father, and was all smiles as she stood next to her forever husband. Inga and Igor are literally a stunning couple and I’m so glad I got to witness their beautiful moment.
The fun part was heading outside for portraits. IT WAS FREEZING OUTSIDE!!!! Thank goodness Inga planned ahead and had furs for the bridal party, and hats for the groomsmen! I could barely feel my fingers out there! After that, the reception fun began!
Inga and Igor were truly such a blessing to work with and I’m so glad to have been able to be a part of their day. The invitation to come stay with us in New Orleans is always on the table for you guys!!
