Mother. wife. EXTROVERT. photographer. libra. esfj. neat-freak. coffee lover.
I'm a New Orleans based wedding & personal branding photographer. I'm 32 years young and I have the absolute BEST job ever! But aside from my kick-ass job, I’m just a regular mom and wife who enjoys Netflix and chillin, long romantic walks in Target, drinking coffee, and the rare night out with my friends! I’m full of laughter, a textbook extrovert, and a total Libra (if you love astrology).
My husband Dino and I met about 6 years ago and we instantly became friends (but quickly decided we wanted more than friendship). After 2 years of dating we eloped and had a small courthouse wedding and highly REGRET not having a photographer. Nine months after marriage (honeymoon baby!), we welcomed Selena into the world. And we recently had another baby, Petra, in June of this year! (Yes, I totally named her after Petra from Jane The Virgin- one of my FAVORITE shows!)
This crazy little family of mine makes my heart soar! My husband Dino is incredibly handsome and is just the right amount of annoying to keep me on my toes. We met 7 years ago and have been inseparable since. Our daughter, Selena, is 3 years old and we recently welcomed baby Petra in June! I love my little family so much!!
Since I was a little girl, I would rearrange my closet or my bedroom set every few months because I would get bored. So doing something new would always be like a breath of fresh air. I really dislike when things feel stale. I've actually redecorated my dining room in my home FOUR times. This might sounds like a commitment issue to some, but I really love and look forward to change- it keeps things exciting!
Okay this may be a bit cliche (especially for a wedding photographer) but I LOVE FLOWERS!! At a wedding you'll probably see me using your bouquet in nearly every detail shot because it's such a feminine element. Parting with beautiful flowers is so hard for me! Also if you're giving away your floral centerpieces at after your big day, save me one!
I've seen every season countless times- never gets old! It reminds me of a simpler time where good friends and classic rock were all that mattered. Red and Kitty are my absolute favorite characters and a beautiful example of a loving relationship. Like Red does for Kitty, I hope my husband would just hand me a mixed drink when I'm flipping out (LOL). Oh, and Eric and his friends are freaking hilarious.
It's home. I love almost everything about New Orleans. The music, the nightlife, the people, the Saints, Mardi Gras, the festivals, and yes, even the huge ass beers. This magical city brings me life and no matter where I live, I will always call New Orleans my home. Fun fact: this photo was taken on my cell phone during the celebration of the Saints NFC Championship victory (when we beat the Vikings) back in January of 2010!
